We extend a warm invitation to join us at the FTC team information meeting, where you'll discover all about our FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team! This gathering is open to both students and families who are curious about our robotics programs and want to know more about the competitive FTC team. Come and be a part of this engaging event to explore the world of robotics and discover the possibilities that lie ahead!
First Tech Challenge (FTC) is a learning opportunity designed for youths grades 7-12. With a new challenge every year, students must design, build, program robots to compete with and against other teams. Each year, FIRST® provides teams with a new challenge that focuses on real-world issues that scientists and engineers are facing today. Students work together to design, build, and program their robots, preparing for the competition season.
Our FTC team is open to students from grades 7th to 10th who are interested in exploring engineering principles, coding, building, manufacturing, and business skills. Throughout the FTC team activities, participants will have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively and construct a robot from the ground up, gearing up to compete in the current season's challenge. No prior experience is necessary, and we warmly welcome all enthusiastic individuals!
During the information meeting, we'll not only provide an overview of the team's objectives and activities but also discuss essential details such as the weekly schedule, commitment requirements, initial costs, and monthly tuition for the competition season. The competition season typically starts in September and ends in March. So all parents and students are invited to stay in the meeting.
