 Another good news is, to help our students to achieve higher, Sunshine invited our previous students Gopal Goel (2021 IMO Silver and 2020 IMPhO Gold Medal) and Ram Goel (2021 MOP) to give two seminars on how to achieve high in competitions and 2 classes for AMC10/12 and AMIE/USAMO in Summer. We will finalize and post the schedule next week.

 


- WVA Team Wins 2nd Place at 2025 OSCF State Team Chess Tournament 04-09-2025
Congratulations to the WVA team (Prisha, Neev, Garud, Tvisha, Gabriel Fidel) for securing 2nd place in the K-8 section at the OSCF State Team Chess Tournament! An impressive achievement and a testament to their hard work, strategy, and teamwork.
- 2025 Science Bowl: WVA Team wins 4th Place in the Region and the Top School in Oregon  02-01-2025
Congratulations to the incredible WVA team — Aneesh, Madhava, Garud, Ryan, and Chenhao — for their outstanding achievement at the regional Science Bowl!  A special thank you to our amazing coaches, Mr. Dupuis and Mr. G, for their unwavering mentorship and support.

- WVA Team Wins 1st Place at 2025 MathCounts State Competition! 04-05-2025
We are thrilled to share some exciting news — Team WVA (Anushi Mittal, Ryan Zhang, Garud Sha, Aneesh Malyavanatham) has earned 1st place at the 2025 MATHCOUNTS State Competition! Their dedication, hard work, and mathematical brilliance have made our school community incredibly proud. A special congratulations goes out to Ryan Zhang and Garud Shah, who placed in the top 4 individually. They will be two of only four students representing Oregon at the National MATHCOUNTS Competition this spring! Mr. Norse will be leading Oregon’s team at Nationals. Please join us in congratulating our mathletes and wishing them the best as they prepare for Nationals. Go WVA!
- 2025 Summer STEM Camps & Academic Advance Classes Registration is Open 03-14-2025
It's time to plan for summer! The summer season has a significant impact on young children, as it's the time when the learning gap tends to emerge. Join us at Sunshine Elite Summer School for an enriching summer experience! We're offering 6 weeks of in-person STEM camps and 6 weeks of in-person or online academic advance classes. Our summer program runs from July 7th to August 15th.
